Dr. Waer's research interests are "Breast cancer prevention and early detection Particularly the relationship of atypical ductal hyperplasia seen on ductoscopy or biopsy and the potential to progress to breast cancer." With about 1 in 8 U.S. Women will develop invasive breast cancer over her lifetime* it is crucial to know about preventative measures, symptoms, and treatments so that we as a unified front can advocate for prevention and treatment.
