Dr. Juliana Sacoman
Dr. Sacoman is an Assistant Professor of Practice at the University of Arizona. She teaches BIOC 463A (Biochemistry Laboratory) which gives students a chance to learn and practice a wide variety of laboratory techniques that are used in a modern biochemistry laboratory. This includes site directed mutagenesis, gene expression analysis, protein production and purification, enzyme kinetics, among others.
Additionally, her specialties include Biochemistry Education, Teacher Education and Preparation, Glycobiology, Metabolism, Natural Products.
