President
Lauryn Terry is a senior majoring in Psychological Sciences and minoring in Biochemistry. After completing her undergrad she hopes to receive a Master of Physician Assistant Studies and specialize in either cardiology or emergency medicine. Outside of being WIMS’ President she volunteers at Sister Jose Women’s Center and works as a registered behavioral therapist. When she is not studying she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and watching true crime documentaries!

Vice President
Sarah is a junior majoring in Neuroscience and Cognitive Science. She plans to attend nursing school and after working bedside for a couple of years she hopes to get her DNP in Midwifery. Along with being Vice President of WIMS, Sarah is a Project Lead for the Partnerships Through Honors (PATH) internship and a Clinical Operations Assistant at the College of Nursing. When she isn’t studying or working, Sarah loves to read on her Kindle, hang out with her amazing cats, explore new coffee shops in Tucson, and binge watch reality TV.

Secretary
Abby LoCascio is a sophomore double majoring in Biology with a biomedical science emphasis and Molecular and Cellular Biology with a human health and genetics emphasis. Abby is currently deciding whether she wants to pursue an MD/PhD or a PhD, but definitely knows she wants to pursue a career in research that will help others. Abby is currently a student researcher on campus and has been an intern at a biotechnical pharmaceutical company for the past two summers. Her hobbies include drawing, crocheting, and trying to learn how to cook.

Social Events Coordinator
Amelia is a sophomore majoring in physiology and medical sciences with a minor in Spanish. She plans on attending medical school and working in reconstructive/plastic surgery. She aims to collaborate with global non-profit organizations in underserved countries to provide medical care. Along with being the WIMS Social Events Coordinator, Amelia is a part of APAMSA (Asian Pacific Islander Pre-Health Club), Flying Samaritans, and Girl Gains. She is a volunteer at Banner University Medical Campus and has her phlebotomy technician certification. Amelia is also a part of a neurophysiological research lab on-campus. Outside of school Amelia enjoys working out, thrifting, reading, skiing, and matcha. She is so excited for this year and hopes to create a welcoming environment!

Social Media Coordinator
Rae is a senior majoring in Psychological Science and minoring in Fashion Industry Technology and Science. In the future, she plans on obtaining her Masters Degree in Public Health and attending medical school to become a physician, specializing in perinatal care for high risk pregnancies. She also hopes to contribute to policy discussions in the future to address inequality and accessibility issues in healthcare.
In addition to being the WIMS Social Media Coordinator, she volunteers at a food distribution hosted by El Rio Health Center, works as a Research Assistant in Dr. Huggins’ CATS Lab, and serves on the board of UA Pacific Roots as Fundraising Chair. Rae is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She also loves grabbing a tea at Scented Leaf, shopping at local antique and secondhand stores, and spending time with friends!

Local Outreach Coordinator
Michaela Ryan is a junior, majoring in Biochemistry, and plans on pursuing a career as a physician. She is a co-instructor for SCI 299, a pre-health colloquium for underclassmen College of Science students interested in pursuing a pre-health profession. In addition, she is involved in research through the Center for Innovation in Brain Science in Dr. Roberta Brinton’s lab, studying Alzheimer’s disease.
Her on-campus involvements include being an Ambassador and Peer Mentor for the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry as well as extracurricular clubs such as the Girl Gains and Honors Service Club. Outside of academics, she enjoys cooking, hiking, music festivals, weightlifting, and spending time with her cat, Mushu. She also volunteer with Banner University Medical Center and holds certifications as an Emergency Medical Technician and Certified Nurse Aide. As the local outreach coordinator, she will be the main point of contact for everything volunteering.

Project Coordinator
Alani is a sophomore majoring in Medicine with an integrative and practice emphasis. After graduation she hopes to attend medical school and eventually pursue Maternal-Fetal Medicine. She currently works on campus with the Student Telephone Outreach Program. This semester you’ll find her volunteering at BUMC and working with pregnancies as a birth doula. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends, listening to OB/GYN podcasts, and going to pilates classes. This is her first year on the WIMS board as project coordinator and she is so excited!

STEM Outreach Coordinator
Camille is a senior majoring in Molecular and Cellular Biology and minoring in Educational Psychology and Biochemistry. After graduation, she is planning to attend medical school and eventually practice as a pediatrician, family medicine physician, or OB/GYN. She currently works at the SALT Center as a peer tutor and is a member of her sorority, Chi Omega. She has also worked as a medical scribe and volunteered with local hospitals in the past. In addition, Camille was a preceptor last spring and is currently a mentor for her major. In her free time, Camille enjoys participating in intramural sports and taking walks with her friends. She also loves movie nights!

Monsi is a senior studying Physiology and Medical Sciences/Biochemistry. She plans on getting her Master's and then going to Medical School! Monsi volunteers at TMC, is on the auxiliary board for TMC, works on campus with the geology department, is an MCB181L TA, and a proud member of KDChi (ΚΔΧ). She also loves to paint shoes, read, and do nails!

Katy Coulman is a sophomore double majoring in Psychology and Biology with a minor in Spanish. After completing her undergrad, she wishes to go to medical school to pursue a career in Trauma Surgery. Outside of being a part of the lovely WIMS's Advising Committee, she volunteers at the Campus Pantry and Campus Closet as well as the Pima Animal County Shelter. Whenever she is not studying, she loves to work out, hang out with family and friends, go to concerts. and to listen to music!! This is her first year on the WIMS board and I am so excited to continue helping members and growing the WIMS community!!

Advising Committee
Reagan Imhoff is a sophomore and is majoring in psychology and minoring in Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Studies. She plans on pursuing graduate school and obtaining her post-doctoral degree in clinical psychology. Reagan wants to become a clinical psychologist and help her clients and people with disabilities be confident in who they are. Reagan was a National Goodwill Ambassador for the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). She, along with other advocates, pushed Congress to pass a bill that would include accessibility provisions in the 2023 FAA Authorization, which passed in the House and the Senate!
She is involved in several other charities in her hometown like the Wisconsin Leadership Seminar (WILS) and sits on several of their Inclusive Leadership Panels. In her free time, Reagan enjoys reading, writing, going to concerts, hanging out with her friends, doing figure 8s on the Mall after hours, and traveling.

Local Outreach Committee
Maya Sargent is a Sophomore majoring in Medicine at the University of Arizona. She grew up in Washington State and sought out the University of Arizona for the beautiful campus and sunny weather. Maya aspires to attend dental school upon completing her undergraduate degree, aiming to become a Dentist and possibly an Orthodontist. To gain relevant experience and enhance her dental school applications, she actively volunteers at Banner University Medical Center and has been shadowing dentists to better understand the field.
In addition to her academic and professional pursuits, Maya will be working as a desk assistant on campus this year. Outside of her commitments, Maya is passionate about spending her free time engaging in outdoor activities and exploring new experiences. She loves spending time with animals, hiking the scenic trails of Tucson, and discovering new places in the area. Additionally, she is a big fan of sports and loves to attend all of the events and games on campus with her friends.
