Dr. Jessica Andrews-Hanna is a professor and researcher at the University of Arizona. She achieved a BS in Biology and Psychology at Duke University and went on to obtain a Masters in Neuroscience at the Washington University in St. Louis, and finally received a PhD in Psychology at Harvard. She now works on research conducted in the Neuroscience of Emotion and Thought (NET) Lab, which is centered on understanding the mysteries of our inner mental lives – the thoughts, memories, feelings and emotions that make use unique as individuals. An ultimate goal of her lab is to help individuals harness the beneficial aspects of internally-guided cognition and live happier, healthier lives.
